Hello all! We're Kimberly & Jeff Jacoby, Professional Travel Advisors, and owners of Romantics Travel, in Fort Worth. We're a boutique, luxury travel agency that was born from our own Travel Love Story of traveling together as a way to grow, recharge and connect in our own relationship.
My love for travel was rooted at an early age growing up in Japan with a Korean mother and military father. As a family, we traveled frequently and moved constantly, which was always both unpredictable and exhilirating at the same time.
Marrying my soulmate Jeff, also provided that same feeling of excitement but also came with the unpredictability when compounded by life's pressures like work, school, and raising two young children. Travel for us was put on the back-burner, and saved for a time that was more "convenient". Unfortunately that also meant that we were stressed out and burnt out without a way to recharge and really focus on each other. We both vowed to change that.
It was then that we realized we needed to take the time, and used travel as a way to grow, build, and prioritize our relationship as well as escape from life's daily pressures. Our passion for travel and the desire to help others stay connected and "in love" led us to create Romantics Travel.
Between my design, systems, and organizational skills, and Jeff's knack for back office, research, and quick wit, we are helping busy couples plan and experience amazing getaways .
Our travels have taken us to 17 countries, and over 300 resort properties in Hawaii, Mexico, and the Caribbean. We personally travel over a month or more each year to preview the latest properties and destinations, attend industry trainings, develop supplier relationships, and keep informed on the latest travel trends. We welcome the opportunity to put our passion and expertise to work for you.
about Nickie
My Passion for travel began at a young age...I was always eager for the next adventure. Having worked in the hotel industry right out of high school and through college I learned my strength in serving people. 10 years strong and growing in the corporate side, I felt my purpose was more to be at home. I love being a mother but missed the opportunity of a career...so I decided to have both- by becoming a Travel Designer!
Self taught through endless (still learning everyday) research and personal experience of destinations from all-Inclusive, cruise lines, and of course the Happiest Place on Earth. I discovered my niche in the travel world...families! My focus is creating the right vacation with all the right details at an incredible value. No vacation is too small or too large and the amount of attention given to each client is incomparable. My business is molded by word of mouth and repeat clients. I hope to help make your travel dreams come true.
about Meaghan
I started selling travel with the ambition of helping others experience the beauty of the world in a way that is unique to each individual. Everyone is different, so why stick with a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to traveling the world and having once in a lifetime experiences?
I lived in the US Virgin Islands on the island of St Croix for two years, and I absolutely fell in love with the Caribbean culture, marine life, and island life in general. I am studying Global Hospitality and Tourism with a concentration in Sustainable Hospitality and a minor in disaster management.
I am a Careers on Vacation Certified Travel Advisor and I have had extensive destination and supplier training. (Honestly, if you added up all my training hours, I could have a master’s degree in travel advising if it were real a thing).
I specialize in tropical destinations (I especially love snorkel trips), Europe & the Mediterranean, the South Pacific, and Hawaii.
Working with me to plan your trip means that you have someone who truly cares about you and your travel experience to make sure that you get the most value for your investment. I strive to do everything I can to make sure you have a stress-free and enjoyable experience.

"Kimberly & Jeff helped us with an "excellent" honeymoon!! They were very professional & personable! They took the time to sit down with us & get a feel of who we were & what we wanted in order to recommend the best experience based on our needs & wants!! The extras that they were able to include were amazing & we were definitely surprised & impressed! We did not want to book this type of vacation on our own, as we had never been on this type of a vacation before!! We are so glad we found Romantics Travel at a bridal show I attended!! On the departure date of our trip, we missed our flight on accident & Kim & Jeff were in contact with us the entire time, ensuring that we were able to make all the connecting flights! Due to having our original flight rebooked, it turns out that our returning flight got cancelled unbeknownst to us; instead of bothering us on our week in paradise they followed through & ensured we were put back on the returning flight, which we did not even know about until after we had returned home!! Without them we may have been stuck in Mexico!! We will definitely turn to Romantics Travel for any future vacations we take!! Kim & Jeff are amazing!!"
