Below is the agreement that we send to all potential clients that explains our Professional Trip Retainer.
Due to our exclusivity, availability, and the amount of personalization each trip requires, Romantics Travel only takes on a limited number of couples for travel planning. Our recommendations are based on years of personal experience and professional expertise. All we ask is that you have a mutual level of commitment. Saving time and stress is just one of the many reasons you have chosen to consult with a Professional Travel Consultant. Your trip is a significant investment, and not one to risk with an online discount website like Expedia or Orbitz, who will offer you none of the benefits and perks of working with a Travel Professional.

To ensure that we are maximizing our time and providing the highest level of service to our clients, we require a professional retainer. 100% of the retainer will be returned to you once your trip begins, as long as you book your trip through us. However, in the event that you decide not to go, cancel, or decide not to book through us, the retainer will be converted to a service fee that is kept and used to compensate us for our time.
Please note our agency endeavors to provide you with the best quoted value. We provide the first 3 quotes included in the professional retainer deposit, while 4th and subsequent quotes will be subject to a $25 surcharge each. Clients have 30 days to deposit on a booking from the date the first quote is delivered.
