Sandals Newest Resort in Barbados

What do Sandals and the fabulous singer Rihanna have in common? Yep... Barbados. Sandals has just officially announced its plans for their newest resort in St. Lawrence, Barbados. Sandals will be taking over the former 10 acre Couples Resort, and will boast 280 well appointed rooms ranging from lush tropical garden suites to luxury beachfront suites. Honeymooners rejoice! This will be an amazing property to add to the Sandals collection, and it is just a 15 minute drive to Grantley Adams International Airport and the capital, Bridgetown.

Sandals will also be adding to their famous family product, Beaches, by opening a brand new resort in St Peter using the former Almond Beach Resort. The Almond Beach resort used to be a sugar plantation, and is just 45 minutes from Grantley Adams International Airport. Does this mean it could be a haunted hotel? According to other sites, the proposal is to build 426 large family rooms, with an average of 6 guests per room. This will be a significant boost to Barbados tourism, and allow Barbados to regain its share of the family market.

Finally, for all of you Sandals aficionados out there... the newest resort, Sandals LaSource in Grenada is set to open this December, which means yet another amazing option for a romantic getaway or honeymoon.

Now there is great reason why Sandals has such a huge following with the honeymooner and destination wedding crowd. Namely, Sandals resorts are known for their adults only luxury-included all inclusive amenities. No other resort has as many quality inclusions. Inclusions like unlimited top shelf liquors, included resort activities, a huge bevy of fabulous restaurants, free weddings, transfers, private airport lounges, and more...and top this with the fact that all of their butlers have been professionally trained by the Guild of Professional English Butlers. Know what else? It is hard to keep those butlers on staff, as they are constantly being stolen away by the rich and filthy rich. You get the picture.

I could go on and on about Sandals and their offerings, but I will need to save that for another blog post.
